Code Club is a time and space for children to explore coding! Coding, sometimes called computer programming, is how we communicate with computers. Code tells a computer what actions to take, and writing a code is like creating a set of instructions. It’s been shown that learning to code can help you do better in other subjects that you’re studying or learning. Within programming, you learn how to break down a problem into individual steps and to use a language that the computer understands to logically create a working program.
Code club is ran by Mrs Gunn who is an enthusiastic member but is learning alongside the children and Mr Swales who is a registered Code Club volunteer and has been a professional coder for over 25 years.
