As you may be aware as from September 2014 all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to have a FREE school meal.
For all children in Key Stage 2 school dinners cost £10.25 per week (£2.05 per day). Please can parents hand in any dinner money to the school office on Mondays.
At the Village Primary School we continue to operate a 3 choice system of school dinners. Each morning children from Reception to Year 6 can pick the daily meal form the school menu and then wear a coloured loom band (green, orange and yellow) during the day to identify the meal the children have selected.
We have included a copy of this term’s menus which operate on a 4 week rota. If you would like to know any more information about this system please contact school.

Dinner money is collected on Monday. We ask all parents/carers to put in a lunch money envelope (available from the office) labelled with the name of your child, their class and any other necessary details. For safety and security we ask that all dinner money envelopes are handed in at the office.
Dinner arrangements should cover the whole week and as from September 2014 dinner for the week costs £10.25 per child.
If you think you may be eligible for free school meals, please contact the school office. Children who are entitled to FSM are also bring additional government funds into the school which are used to support your child with their learning.
